Noel Kambili

Noel Kambili was born in Dar es Salaam, but his parents are Makua and come from Nakapanya village. In 1997 he became apprentice to Mzee Salum “Lumumba” and learned how to paint in the Tingatinga style.
Kambili has since developed his own ‘design’ of highly detailed butterflies on white, black or yellow backgrounds.
